Jalan Tun H S Lee, formerly Jalan Bandar and before that it was known as High Street.
The area is well known for it's florists, especially along Hotel Malaya. This florist now occupies 3 shoplots.
Due to it's proximity to China town, it is also popular with back-packers.
Handicrafts are also plentiful, however it's not always Malaysian handicrafts.
This lane is converted into a shopping mall on Sundays.
One of the old buildings, Lee Rubber Building. It now houses a book store. It has been many things in the past, including the branch of a local bank.

The famous Hindu temple is undergoing renovations.
Garlands are made not only using flowers but also using limes.
Shops selling ladies accessories are also abundant here.
